Dr. Suzanne Bartlett is physician and medical director of the Mercy Integrative Medicine Center at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

Having practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for 13 years, in 2013 Dr. Bartlett completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil. She is the first M.D. in the state of Iowa to have completed this highly acclaimed fellowship.

Dr. Bartlett’s passion for integrative medicine stems from her son’s autism, as well as her non-smoking husband’s diagnosis and death from stage IV lung cancer. These experiences have spurred her interest in the effects of environmental toxins on disease, as well as an interest in using less invasive, more natural approaches to healing and wellness.

Dr. Bartlett is a board member and past president of the Autism Society of Iowa and serves on the Advisory Council for the University of Iowa Autism Center. She speaks regularly to groups on the subject of autism and is the author of an award-winning children’s book called, “A Friend Like John; Understanding Autism.”
