Summer Nurse Internships
Mercy Medical Center will be hiring 10
nurse interns for the summer of 2012.
To qualify, applicants must be between their junior
and senior years in a BSN program and must enroll in Course NU360 - Clinical
Internship at Mt. Mercy University for the summer 2012 term.
Interns will be placed on the following units:
- Intensive Care Center
- Orthopaedics
- Emergency Department
- Surgical Inpatient Center
- Pulmonary Medicine Unit
- Neuro-Oncology
- Outpatient Surgery Clinic
- Behavioral Services
- TCU/Skilled
- Cardiac Stroke Center
Hours and Shifts
The paid internship will begin June 4, 2012, and last for
10 weeks, ending August 12, 2012. Interns will work the hours of their
preceptors, including off shifts, holidays and weekends as needed. Current Mercy
Employee candidates can apply by filling out an internal job posting response
form. Deadline to apply is December 31, 2011.
