Mercy Education Department - Community Ed
Welcome to the Mercy Medical Center Education Department where you will find information regarding both professional and community education events.
Community education events are also provided in an effort to increase knowledge and awareness regarding a wide variety of health related topics and Mercy services.
The Education Department is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 319-398-6143. You may also email us. We are located on the first floor across from the Marketing and Public Relations Department. Many of our educational activities are held in the Hallagan Education Center, a large auditorium located directly across the lobby from the 10th street entrance.
Throughout the year, Mercy Medical Center sponsors community education programs as part of the Mercy Education Series. The goal of these programs is to provide the community with information from local experts in specialty areas thereby increasing the participant's knowledge regarding a variety of health related topics and Mercy services.
