Description

Radon is a radioactive gas that is colorless, odorless and tasteless and is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers in the United States. Iowa has the highest percentage of homes that are above the recommended radon level set by the EPA. Learn more about the risks, testing and prevention from area experts. Refreshments will be provided.

This program is sponsored by the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Iowa Cancer Consortium, Linn County Healthy Homes and Linn County Public Health.
