November 8-12 is Urgent Care Awareness Week

The Urgent Care Association of America has named November 8-12, 2010 as Urgent Care Awareness Week. Both MercyCare North and MercyCare South are members of this organization and will use this week to spread awareness for Urgent Care services throughout the community.

Urgent Care Awareness Week is the time to educate our patients and the community about the important role urgent care can play in their health care. MercyCare Urgent Care North and South are walk-in clinics for minor injuries such as ankle sprains, or common illness like your child’s ear infection. They offer on-site X-ray and lab services to expedite your visit. Urgent Care clinics also offer immunizations and encourage you to stop by for a flu shot to protect you and your family during this fast approaching flu season.

During Urgent Care Awareness Week, both MercyCare Urgent Care Centers will be handing out brochures to help educate patients on urgent care services. Stop at either location to learn more:
