Athletic Republic is a science-based sports training program developed from more than 20 years of research on how the body responds to physical stress.
Our intensive individualized sports specific programs and state-of-the-art equipment give athletes a competitive edge at every level. We train athletes to be faster, stronger, more flexible and in the best physical condition for their sport.
What type of athlete can benefit from this program?
Our program benefits athletes of all ages who want to improve performance in any sport including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, track, and volleyball.
How will the athlete know his or her performance is improving?
Certified trainers will conduct a series of drills and use technical feedback tools to document your performance throughout the program. Test results are uploaded into our Athlete Information Management System so you can track your performance and compare your results to other athletes at your level.
What do trainers assess?
Each athlete will be assessed on strengths and weaknesses in the areas of movement skills, power, strength, conditioning recovery and sport-specific skills.
What type of equipment will the athlete work out on?
Our training equipment includes the Generation II Super Treadmill, Plyo Press and the Plyo Platform, patented cord technology and Pro Multi-Hip.
The Super Treadmill has incline capabilities up to 40 percent grade, speed capabilities up to 29 miles per hour, superior shock absorption and various handlebars to facilitate our training protocols. It will train you so you can sprint and recover faster.
The Plyo equipment will improve your power and agility for jumping, cutting and bounding in a safe and effective environment.
Our cord technology trains you in specific sport motions, increasing power and strength, allowing you to kick, throw and hit faster and farther.
The Pro Multi-Hip improves strength of key muscles of the abdominals and hips.
When is the optimum time to sign up for training?
We can work with you at any time of the year. It is recommended that sessions start six to 10 weeks before the sport season you are training for begins.
How long is a typical workout?
Every athlete is required to spend the first 15 minutes performing our dynamic warm-up. Depending on the personalized workout developed for each athlete, the training session length varies from 45 minutes to an hour. The session rounds out with a 30 to 60 minute strength and core stretching routine. So plan for at least 1 ½ to 2 hours.
What should I bring to the workout?
Dress in athletic workout attire. Bring a towel, water and a positive attitude.
How many times a week does the athlete workout?
Sessions are scheduled 2-3 times each week, based on the athlete's training plan and availability.
How many people does an athlete work out with during sessions?
Sessions include up to four athletes training together.
