Sedlacek Treatment Center
The Family Program

We believe that the family itself, rather than any one member, is the ideal unit of treatment for full recovery.

All significant others (spouses, siblings, children or other relatives, plus partners or important friends) are eligible to participate in the Family Program, which is provided on an outpatient basis at no additional cost. Through group sharing sessions and lectures, the Family Program supports significant others during the process of recovery, helps them face the reality of the roles they play in the dynamics of the illness, teaches specifics about chemical dependency and related issues, and provides the opportunity for sharing and resolving feelings. Individual family counseling is provided as needed.

Family Program Groups meet in the late afternoon and evening and all sessions are conducted by Sedlacek treatment team members.
