Sedlacek Treatment Center
Extended Outpatient Program
Our Extended Outpatient Program is designed for patients whose chemical dependency can be addressed at a lower level of intensity. Extended outpatient care runs 6-12 weeks and allows the patient to continue with employment, school or home responsibilities while receiving treatment.
Group and individual counseling are provided by our interdisciplinary team. Extended OP Groups meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Treatment in accordance with the patient’s needs. Patients are helped to examine their chemical dependency, resolve conflicts caused by the illness, and develop an alternative lifestyle through individual, group and educational therapy.
Although the Outpatient Program has a basic structure, a treatment plan is tailored to meet each individual’s life situation.
As with the Intensive Outpatient Program, family members are strongly encouraged to participate through the Family Program.
When appropriate, referrals will be made to community services where specific patient issues may be addressed, such as financial counseling, marriage counseling, or vocational rehabilitation.
