Heading up Mercy's NICU is Dr. Roger Allen, with more than 25 years of experience caring for the sickest newborns. We understand that babies aren't on a 9-5 schedule, so you can expect 24/7 neonatologist coverage.

Our NICU team has undergone intense specialized education, so they're prepared to provide your baby with the best care possible. The NICU team includes nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, occupational/physical therapists, lactation consultants, social workers and the full services that are offered at Mercy.  

Dr. Allen – along with the Mercy NICU team – has the specialized skills and experience to ensure every baby receives the high level of care they need. It's just one more advantage of The Mercy Touch®.
