Ups and Downs of Blood Glucose (60 minutes)

Healthy Weight Choices (90 minutes)
Managing weight can be a challenge for people with diabetes. This class focuses on how people have lost weight and kept it off. Learn about calories, fat behavior modification, dining out, and exercise. This class is offered on select Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. Call 319-398-6711 for more information.
Three Links in the Chain of Prevention (90 minutes)
Learn the daily steps you can take to help prevent long term complications of diabetes, such as heart attacks, strokes, eye problems, kidney failure and nerve damage. This class is offered on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays at various times. Call 319-398-6711 for more information.
Fast Track for People With Diabetes (150 minutes)
Includes the above classes (Ups and Downs, Medications, Healthy Weight Choices, and Three Links in the Chain of Prevention). This class is offered on select Mondays and Tuesdays at various times. Call 319-398-6711 for more information.
Coping Strategies for People with Diabetes (60 minutes)
This class is intended to present a problem-solving approach to diabetes self-care and general health habits to provide participants with useful information to deal with the diagnosis of diabetes and resources available. Keeping Your Feet Healthy (75 minutes)
Learn how to properly perform daily foot care routines, as well as what foot problems can develop with diabetes and how those problems can be prevented and/or treated.
