All physicians in Mercy's Emergency Department are board-certified in emergency medicine. Our nurses are specially trained, the majority of which are nationally-certified in emergency nursing.

Nationally-recognized care Mercy Medical Center has earned Disease-Specific Care (DSC)Certification from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for:

• Primary Stroke Center
• Primary Women and Heart Disease Center

Mercy is home to the area's only accredited Chest Pain Center.

Fast Track ED

We respect your time.

That's why we created Fast Track for patients whose problems need treatment but are not critical. And, patients seen in the Fast Track are guaranteed to be seen by a provider in 30 minutes or less!

Fast Track Kids' Care

Fast Track now offers the same quality, fast service, focused on your child's care. With pediatric-focused rooms and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Core training, Fast Track Kids' Care guarentees to begin your child's care in 30 mintues or less.

Mercy's Fast Track Ed is only for patients with less urgent illnesses or injuries such as:

Flu Colds Earache Simple cuts and scrapes

Sore throat Rashes Bruises/sprains/strains Broken fingers/toes

Fast Track Hours of Operation

10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Daily
