Laboratory

Mercy Medical Center Laboratory is a full-service, state-of-the-art laboratory serving the hospital and MercyCare clinics. The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Testing is performed by certified medical laboratory scientists, medical laboratory technicians, histologists and cytologists. Approximately one million tests are performed annually in clinical chemistry, toxicology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, immunology, microbiology, mycology, molecular diagnostics, transfusion services, anatomic pathology and cytology.

Pathology services are provided by Weland Clinical Laboratories P.C. Blood products are provided by Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.

Mercy Medical Center Laboratory offers two convenient locations for outpatient blood draws. Walk-ins are welcome; no appointments are necessary.

Hours: Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday: 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.   Sunday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Closed on holidays.	Hours: Monday-Friday: 6 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed weekends and holidays.
After-hours testing for stat orders is available at this location.	No after-hours or drug testing available at this location.
