Convenient Hours and Locations
Injured worker care is provided at three convenient locations: MercyCare North and MercyCare South, our two urgent care centers and the Mercy Medical Center Emergency Department. The urgent care centers treat minor injuries during extended hours on weekdays and weekends. The Emergency Department provides a full range of services for treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses 24 hours a day. We understand the need to minimize time away from work and strive to expedite the treatment process.
Consistent Communication
When you work with Mercy Business Health Services, you get a single point of contact for questions about employee injuries and illnesses. If an employee uses more than one service, paperwork is consistent to make management easier and more efficient. We work closely with the employer, insurance carrier and employee/patient to streamline the process and save you money.
Experienced Occupational Medicine Staff
Our staff is trained to evaluate and treat work-related injuries, illnesses and health problems. We focus on preventing health issues before they become costly to your company. Our doctors understand when restricted or modified duty can be recommended and they make every effort to get your employee back to work as soon as possible.
Healthy Worker Services
Keeping employees safe and healthy is more cost-efficient than treating problems after they occur. Our preventive services include physicals, immunizations, hearing/vision tests and drug/alcohol screening.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
We focus on functional skills specific to your employee’s job requirements. Our goal is to get the employee back to work as soon as possible while minimizing the chance for re-injury.
Mercy Fitness Center
The Mercy Fitness Center can be your employee health club. Besides offering the latest exercise equipment, we can provide fitness and wellness assessments, personal training, nutrition consultation and massage therapy.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Mercy EAP serves as the assessment arm and front-line treatment facility for many employee problems. In many cases, we can help the employee work through their issues without requiring more expensive treatments. We also provide manager/supervisor consultation and training.
