Walk Your Way to Better Health

There’s a lot you can do to stay fit—running, yoga, exercise classes, swimming, biking—the list goes on. But did you know that the most doctor-recommended prescription for staying fit is walking? It’s easy, safe, free, and most importantly—great for your health and well-being.

To help you walk your way to better health, Mercy Medical Center has coordinated and is sponsoring a free walking program for the Cedar Rapids community.

 

As a Steps2Health participant, you’ll receive:

  • Walking log to track your walks
  • Mileage rewards—walking logs returned for monthly prize drawings
  • Monthly health seminars and screenings by health-care professionals from Mercy Medical Center
