Fit Yoga**
A 60-minute class beginning with a 15-minute dynamic warm-up featuring components of muscular strength, followed by 40 minutes of deep yoga stretching and concludes with 5 minutes of total body/mind relaxation.
Silver Yoga**
A 60-minute class designed specifically for "silver" (older) adults. This class improves flexibility, range of motion, and muscular strength.
Yoga for Athletes**
A vigorous and comprehensive workout designed to improve and complement an athlete's training. Contributes to overall strength and endurance, increased flexibility and body alignment.
Pre-Natal Yoga**
This class will help meet the challenges and changes of pregnancy and birth. It incorporates gentle, safe movements and stretches to strengthen muscles and improve breathing and relaxation. A physician's referral is necessary prior to beginning the class.
Baby and Me Yoga**
invites moms and/or dads to practice yoga with babies from ages newborn to two. This 45-minute class is just long enough, without being too long for baby. Feel free to bring a blanket or bottle for feeding and your own mat. A physician's referral is necessary prior to 6 weeks post-partum.
Yoga Basics**
A class designed for, but not limited to, students who have no previous yoga experience. You will learn yoga postures and body alignment. The class concludes with total body relaxation. Students with previous yoga experience are welcome.
Bones Up
A class to teach and lead individuals with osteoporosis and osteopenia appropriate strength exercises that encourage bone health with a focus on proper technique. It includes stretching and strengthening exercises that will build strength, endurance and flexibility. It can help you feel better, have more energy and improve function. A physician referral is necessary before participating.
PACE (People with arthritis can exercise)
Designed specifically for people with arthritis, this 45-minute class includes exercises to help increase joint mobility, muscular strength and endurance, and coordination. Take charge of your arthritis and feel better today! A physician referral is necessary before participating.
Fit Kids
A group exercise program designed to help kids start exercising and develop healthy lifestyle habits. A fitness specialist will lead your child through specific exercises that help develop muscle tone, agility, and coordination. The kids have fun while their bodies are getting stronger.
Step Aerobics
You can get a great workout while stepping to the beat. This 45-minute low impact, high intensity class is easily adjusted to your fitness level using steps of different heights. Great for cardiovascular endurance and muscular strengthening.
Fit and Over 50
Designed specifically for older adults, this 40-minute class improves cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength through movement to music. Lots of stretching is incorporated to improve flexibility. There is no jumping or bouncing in this class.
Fit For Life
A class for individuals who have health problems which require supervised exercise. Lead by an exercise specialist, the class begins with a gentle warm-up, moves into 30 minutes of aerobic activity-usually walking or biking, and concludes with a cool down stretch. Blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar (when necessary) and general condition are monitored by registered nurses. A physician's referral is necessary before participating in this class.
Buns and Bellies
A 45-minute workout to help firm the thighs, buttocks, abdominals and upper body. A great total body strengthening and toning class.
Circuit
Take a 30-minute break and join a dedicated group of noon-time exercisers. Circuit training, alternating light weights and aerobic exercise or step aerobics. It's your choice!
Energizer
These 40 to 45-minute low impact aerobic classes are designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility.
Group Strength
This class takes the guess work out of weight training. Group strength is a fun and fast-paced workout that uses light to moderate weights that strengthen and tone all of the major muscle groups, raising your metabolism to help you get in shape fast!
Boot Camp
An intense, but fun, fast-paced class designed to condition your body like an athlete. Includes sports drills, muscle strengthening and jumping moves that target your entire body.
Body Balance
This 30-minute class is the perfect blend of exercises focusing on core body strength, balance and flexibility. Class is suitable for all fitness levels.
