Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis Support Group

Mercy Women’s Center sponsors an osteoporosis support group, one or only two in Iowa affiliated with the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF). Our free support group enables you to receive information about bone health and fracture prevention, and gives you an opportunity to learn from others in similar situations.

If exam results indicate that you have osteoporosis or osteopenia, you are invited to come to the NOF Mercy Osteoporosis Support Group meetings. Our theme is Building Strength Together.  Call Donna Flynn at the Mercy Women’s Center, 319-398-6494, for dates and other information.
