Mercy Private Patient Rooms
Take the tour. See the difference.

Mercy's mission is to provide high quality, innovative patient care coupled with the latest technology available. In keeping with that, the hospital has been renovating all inpatient areas to offer private rooms for patients.
Now, 100% percent of all acute-care inpatient rooms are private. We've just completed renovating the 8th floor of our inpatient tower to private rooms. This floor serves as the new oncology-neurosurgery unit.
Health Advantages
Mercy has made the change to all private rooms because of the many health advantages for patients. Studies show that patients in private rooms heal faster, have shorter stays and have lower exposure to
infections.
Family members are able to better support the patient and healing process by remaining with the patient in the private rooms, and patients also appreciate the opportunity for private spiritual support.
Mercy's new private rooms are especially family friendly, with sofa beds, internet ports, flat-screen televisions, CD/DVD players and automatic window-covering controls. The latest technology available helps monitor patients' conditions.
As always, there is no additional cost for a private room at Mercy.
