DAISY Award
The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses honors and celebrates nurses for the extraordinary care they provide every day. It's a meaningful way to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public and lasting way. Mercy supports DAISY Nurse, DAISY Team, and DAISY Nurse Leader awards.
Grateful Patient Giving is a way to show appreciation and recognize exceptional care. Whether you choose to honor a specific staff member or an entire department, your donation is a meaningful expression of gratitude. Your gift may support patient care in areas of greatest need (unrestricted), or in a department or service line of special meaning – it’s up to you. In addition, gifts can be made in honor or memory of a loved one.
Your nomination could result in an award for a deserving individual or team!
Recognition is available for staff, volunteers, physicians, and advanced practice providers (such as nurse practitioners and physicians assistants).
If your nomination results in an award for the nominated staff member(s), your story will be shared with Mercy staff and posted to Mercy’s publicly available social media pages after any patient information is removed.
