125 years ago on November 14, 1900, Sisters of Mercy Mary Aquinas Lieser, Mary Philomena Morton, Mary Euphrasia Grimes, and Mary Clement Kieley opened Mercy Hospital — establishing a legacy of compassionate healthcare focused on quality. As we celebrate this momentous anniversary, we reflect on where we started, but also reaffirm our commitment to care for the sick and enhance the health of the communities we serve, guided by the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.
