Women who are seeking help or understanding around their hormones; fitness and nutrition in perimenopause and menopause; or who just want to be ready for that stage, this is for you.
This eight-week course/support group will be hosted by Sarah Norris, ARNP, and Wellness Coach Kim Meyer along with other industry experts. Together, they will take you through topics around understanding your menstrual cycle; hormone fluctuations in perimenopause and menopause; how to fuel and train your body through those changes; female sexual health; and cleaning up your environment to give your endocrine system a break.
This course is taught in a hybrid style where you’ll receive the recorded content in advance so you can review and revisit the material at any time and the meetings themselves intended for questions, conversation and collaboration—meeting both virtually and in-person simultaneously in the Mercy Urology Clinic on the fourth floor of Mercy's 8th & 8th Building. We're excited to provide you with resources, knowledge and support on your journey.
** This registration is for the in-person event. **
Testimonials:
- “Knowledge is empowering ladies! This course provides a safe space to talk about women’s health issues and ask uncomfortable questions. I walked away with things I could do, both big and small, that are making a real difference in how I feel. I’m also advocating more for myself and my health needs, seeking multiple opinions and exploring my options. I’m challenging that the changes I’m experiencing are normal for my age and that I should just accept it.”
- “I enjoyed participating in the first EmpowerHER series. I learned a lot about body structure and hormones. My key takeaway was the monthly workout planner – I share it with my personal trainer in the hope that it makes it easier for her to plan our personal training sessions. Thanks for this class!”
