MercyCare has four convenient Urgent Care locations for when you have a health issue that needs immediate attention but is not a life-threatening emergency:
When you experience a minor accident or sudden illness and your family doctor is not open or is unable to fit you into their schedule, Urgent Care is the right place to be. Urgent care visits cost less than ER visits, and you can even choose your arrival time using eArrival.
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.*
*MercyCare Prairie Creek Urgent Care is not open on weekends
MercyCare Community Physicians is now offering urgent care video visits 24 hours a day, seven days a week so your employees can get the care they need whenever they need it. The service is best suited for non-emergency care such as: allergies, cough, fever, migraine, pink eye, rash, seasonal flu, sinus problems and stomachaches and is covered by most insurance carriers although self-pay is also an option. MercyCare Occupational Health provides quality care to help your employees return to work safely-sooner. Our single electronic medical record (EPIC) allows us to coordinate care between our offices, Urgent Care and Emergency Department services, ensuring seamless communications between all parties. Our facilities also include on-site lab and x-ray services to save time.

Go to Mercy’s Emergency Department if you are experiencing a health issue that requires immediate attention and is life or limb-threatening if not treated immediately. Use your best judgment. But, if you are not sure, go to the Emergency Department. It is open 24/7 and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to handle serious health emergencies. All Mercy Emergency Department physicians are board-certified in emergency medicine – a level of experience and education not required by every emergency facility.
