Dr. Katie Soltys completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Iowa and completed her fellowship at the prestigious Boys Town National Research Hospital - Ear, Nose and Throat Institute in Omaha, NE. After graduating, she worked as a research audiologist for the Outcomes of School-Age Children who are Hard of Hearing (OSACHH) longitudinal study in Iowa City, Iowa, before returning to Boys Town National Research Hospital to practice as a clinical audiologist on the diagnostic and vestibular teams for several years. While in Omaha, she served as an associate professor through the University of Nebraska-Omaha Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. Dr. Soltys holds dual state licensure in both Iowa and Nebraska. She specializes in pediatric audiology, vestibular and balance diagnostics, auditory evoked potentials and hearing aid/auditory osseointegrated device-fitting and follow-up.
