I would rate my experience moderate. Dr. Gore is not always easy to understand. He seems to pay attention to my needs and while I do appreciate that I have some concerns that he doesn't take them into full account. If Dr. Gore had taken more time to consider my thoughts instead of rushing through the visit, I believe it would be very helpful to me. I trust in his knowledge and capabilities as a trained medical provider but I don't trust in his capacity to fully understand his patient's needs. I wouldn't recommend his services to anyone and the only reasons I continue to see him is because the location is convenient and he had been seeing me for many months and knows more about my condition than going to a new doctor. That being said, if my episode reoccurs I'll look for a new provider.

he is fairly new to me and seems very good. I don't know him well enough to say I have great confidence in him time will tell

As I do not have a primary care physician, this provider made sure to let me know he would be happy to take me on as a patient and perform my yearly physical.

The visit was fine. It is the follow up that is the problem. Dr. Gore requested I see a specialist without informing me. I received a call from a scheduler 4 business days after my appointment. I told her that I wanted to talk to Dr. Gore about what he is seeing that is prompting this request first and called the clinic. I was told Dr. Gore would get back to me. I did not receive a call back. 5 days later, I received another call from the Surgeon's office (different doctor) informing me that I wasn't cleared for surgery until I go to see the specialist. She at least was able to tell me that there was an irregularity in my results that Dr. Gore had received 2 days BEFORE my visit... he didn't say anything to me about this during my visit. I again called Dr. Gore's office to request that he call me to discuss this. I still have not received any communication from Dr. Gore.

I don't feel that we have an ongoing relationship even though I have seen him several times. each time feels like we are just meeting for the first timeit is somewhat uncomfortable since I don't know how much of my medical history he referencing and considering when I have a new issue

Dr. Gore is "in my corner," so to speak. I feel like he has my best interests in mind, and his concerns are genuine.
