Dr. Sheeley ordered a d-dimer test to see if there was a POSSIBILITY of blood clots from symptoms I had been having since surgery (with general anesthesia) 4 weeks prior. I ended up going to the ER the next morning. The ER dr told me that blood test would only be ACCURATE a couple weeks from surgery. He told me I was too far out of the window for that test to be 100% accurate. Hearing this, I wasn't pleased that Dr. Sheeley just didn't send me directly to the ER to be checked with a chest CT scan to see if there was a clot.

I have really liked Dr Sheeley. She has great bedside manners and takes the time to listen. I would not want to switch doctors so I hope she is there for a very long time!

The Dr is not as caring or personable as I would like. She did not follow up on my comment about having a lot of stress.

Dr. Sheeley seems very well-informed, and is very relatable. She spends a good amount of time with me, and asks great questions to draw things out that I may not think to mention on my own. I am confident in her as my primary care physician.

Should have a column in here for excellent, because even though I've only seen Dr. Sheeley once, I was extremely happy with her and her staff.

Because Dr. Sheely really takes her time and cares about her patients, she is always is running late. When I was working, this was very inconvenient but now not so much.

She seemed rather aloof. Always eager to pass me along with a referral to a specialist. Tests were ordered but I did not receive a follow up with results. I looked them up myself on My Chart.
