Nursing Education Assistance Programs
A nursing education assistance program can put you on a path to starting your nursing career, debt free. Mercy Medical Center has partnered with several nursing programs to invest in nursing students while providing them professional experience and a career pathway.
Nursing Education Assistance programs provide:
- Financial assistance as students complete their nursing degree at select colleges Mercy has partnered with.
- A part-time job with a flexible schedule as a patient care tech, phlebotomist or paramedic at Mercy Medical Center while students are still in school.
- A full-time registered nurse (RN) position at Mercy and additional bonuses for working at Mercy upon graduation.
Additional details:
- Education grants from Mercy Medical Center will help pay for expenses to while students complete their nursing degree.
- Gain experience working as a patient care tech, phlebotomist or paramedic at Mercy. Students are asked to commit to working an average of 20 hours per month, with flexible scheduling, competitive wages, and the ability to work in various nursing areas.
- Use other forms of state/federal aid, along with Mercy financial assistance, to pay for the cost of attending school.
