Mercy Cedar Rapids is hiring CT Technologists / Radiologic Technologists to join our imaging team across our Mercy imaging locations.

Technologists work with modern imaging equipment while providing high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps physicians diagnose and treat patients quickly and safely.

What You'll Do
- Perform CT exams according to established protocols.
- Establish IV access and administer contrast for CT exams.
- Document imaging studies within PACS and RIS systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists to support patient care.
Hiawatha and Marion Imaging center technologists also support:
- Scheduled CT patients
- Walk-in X-ray exams
- Emergency department imaging support at Mercy imaging locations
What We're Looking For
Required
- ARRT certification (Radiography or CT)
- Iowa Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with CT scanners and diagnostic X-ray equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety and dose optimization
- Ability to assess image quality and repeat studies when necessary
- Competency using PACS, RIS and imaging documentation systems
- Skilled venipuncture technique for contrast administration
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow efficiently
