This three-part fitness series will feature three weeks of strength training, three weeks of Tai Chi and three weeks of balance training. Join us for 30 minutes each week to challenge your stability and improve your muscle strength in a group class setting.
Balance Training with Amanda Breeden, ACSM – EP
Challenge your balance with stability exercises and increase mobility with range of motion and stretching. We will try a variety of balance exercises that can prepare us for moving better in our daily lives.
Strength Training with Ben Kurt, PT, DPT
Learn ways to improve your strength and tolerance for everyday activities! Classes will be split into upper- and lower-body strengthening exercises. We will also progress from no equipment to exercises with bands or weights that you can do in your own home.
Tai Chi with Alex Streinz, PTA
Come move and breathe to improve your body awareness, balance and endurance. By combining slow, fluid movements with coordinated breathing, visual tracking and mindful intent, you can enhance your calm while tapping into your body's natural healing capabilities.
