Meet the Mercy Women's Health Expert
Katie Feldman, MS, ARNP
Katie Feldman, MS, ARNP, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Mercy's Women's Center. She has been at Mercy since 1992 and provides professional and community education on women's health issues.
Katie received her B.S. in Nursing in 1980 from Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids and her M.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin in 1986.
In addition to being a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Women's Center, Katie develops health promotion programs, coordinates special projects, implements performance improvement activities, provides case management services for women diagnosed with breast cancer and coordinates a weekly multidisciplinary breast conference.
Katie also conducts cardiac risk assessments for women through Mercy's Heart to Heart Program.
She also serves as Nurse Clinician, coordinating participants for the Breast Cancer Prevention Trial and the Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifene at Mercy.
