Published on October 29, 2018
Make your way to Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE, on Thursday, Nov. 8 for the Mercy Auxiliary’s fifth annual Mistletoe Market. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Get your holiday shopping done early at this festive Auxiliary fundraiser. More than 40 local vendors will have their unique, handcrafted merchandise on display and available for purchase in Mercy’s 10th Street lobby and the Hallagan Education Center. Guests will find home and holiday décor, soaps, aprons, children’s gifts, doll clothes, jewelry, wood and metal works and many other distinctive, one-of-a-kind items.
Guests are also invited to relax with a bottomless cup of coffee and a sweet treat in the Watts Library. Homemade cakes, cookies, pastries and other treats will be decoratively displayed and available for purchase at the bake sale.
Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for items and gift certificates from local merchants. Holiday merchandise will also be offered at Mercy’s two gift shops.
Proceeds go to the Mercy Auxiliary in support of special projects at the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Mercy’s Birthplace, Mercy’s ER and the Family Caregivers Center at Mercy, as well as other needs throughout the hospital.
