Lydia Brown named president of Mercy Medical Center Foundation

Lydia Brown has been named president of the Mercy Medical Center Foundation, effective mid-June. She will succeed Lorrie Erusha in the role.
Brown brings more than 30 years of leadership, fundraising and community engagement experience to the Foundation. She has led successful campaigns for several area organizations, including United Way of East-Central Iowa, Four Oaks of Iowa, and the Junior League of Cedar Rapids. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Development for the Tiffany Earl Williams Team with Skogman Realty and Midwest Equity, where she focused on growth initiatives and economic development.
A long-time Cedar Rapids resident, Brown has served on the Mercy Medical Center Board of Trustees since 2010 and is actively involved in the community through leadership roles with several local organizations.
“I am so honored to be chosen to lead the Mercy Foundation,” Brown said. “I am so fortunate to be associated with this incredible organization and hope to continue the work others have started.”
Brown and her husband, Mike, have two adult daughters and an adult son. In her free time, she enjoys theater, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Lorrie Erusha has served as president of the Mercy Medical Center Foundation since 2020.
