Mercy Auxiliary kicks off 2025 holiday season with Mistletoe Market

Get a head start on your holiday shopping at Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE, on Thursday, Nov. 6. The Mercy Auxiliary’s 13th annual Mistletoe Market takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

This festive Auxiliary fundraiser will feature nearly 40 local vendors offering unique, handcrafted merchandise throughout Mercy’s 10th Street entrance and the Hallagan Education Center. Shoppers will find home and holiday décor; soaps; children’s gifts; jewelry; wood and metal works; and many other distinctive, one-of-a-kind items.

Guests can also enjoy a bake sale with homemade cakes, cookies, pastries and other festively presented treats.

Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase, featuring items and gift certificates donated by local merchants. Six raffle prizes are valued at $500.

In addition, holiday merchandise will be offered at Mercy’s two gift shops, including a featured Christmas ornament designed by local watercolor artist Barb Thompson.

All proceeds benefit the Mercy Auxiliary and support current projects at Mercy Medical Center. The Auxiliary has previously funded services and enhancements for Mercy’s Birthplace, Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Pediatrics, Security, Family Counseling, Intensive Care and more.
