Mercy Cedar Rapids named to Forbes’ 2025 list of America’s Best-in-State Employers

Mercy is among Top 10 in Iowa & the state’s highest-ranked healthcare employer

Mercy Cedar Rapids has been recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025, earning a spot in the Top 10 for Iowa. Mercy was also the highest-ranked healthcare employer on the state’s list.

The annual ranking, presented by Forbes and market research firm Statista, is based on an independent survey of more than 160,000 employees nationwide. To qualify, organizations must employ at least 500 people. The survey evaluated more than 2 million employer recommendations, both personal (from employees) and public (from individuals familiar with the organization or industry).
