Mercy Medical Center named among hospitals that patients highly recommend

Mercy Medical Center has been recognized with a five-star patient recommendation rating, placing it among hospitals that patients “highly recommend,” according to newly released Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) data compiled by Becker’s Hospital Review. The national list is based on publicly reported patient experience data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

This five-star distinction reflects Mercy’s strong performance on key patient‑experience measures, such as communication, hospital cleanliness and overall satisfaction.

The full list of hospitals patients “highly recommend” is available through Becker’s Hospital Review, based on CMS’ Provider Data Catalog from August 2026. In total, 756 hospitals nationwide received a five-star rating for patient recommendation.
