Auxiliary Funding Requests
Department heads can apply to the Auxiliary for funding on those projects or causes that have not made it through the capital process, or things that are smaller and not required to go through capital.The Auxiliary has approximately $100,000 to distribute. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $10,000. Please notify your teams of this opportunity and the timeline:
- March 13, 2026: Deadline – Auxiliary Request For Funds Form
- March 18, 2026: Scheduled presentation times will be emailed to all requestors by this date
- March 24, 2026: Presentation Day – 15-minute presentations in the Foundation Board Room
- March 26, 2026: Alternative Presentation Day (as needed)
Presentations will be in the Foundation Board Room to a panel of Auxiliary members or via Teams. Each requestor will be allotted a 15-minute time slot (10 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for Q&A). Requestors are encouraged to use samples, photos and anticipated impact to strengthen their proposals.
Funding decisions will be announced at the end of April. All departments, regardless of award status, will be notified via email.
Note change in timeline/process: Funds are available for use July 1, 2026, and must be used by June 30, 2027.
