Power has been restored to Mercy Medical Center and the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center. The hospital has resumed full operations and all hospital services are available. Patients with appointments should keep their appointments at the hospital. Staff members are still reaching out to patients whose appointments will need rescheduled as a result of the power outages. Open Mercy services outside of the hospital include:
One exception is Mercy Outpatient Psychiatry on Level 4 of Mercy, which is still without power and unavailable. We’re hoping power will be restored there very soon.
Mercy Medical Center services outside of the hospital that are not available yet:
Some MercyCare Community Physician clinics are still without power. Staff are working to reach out to patients to reschedule and are ready for full resumption of services as soon as power is restored. The following clinics are open:
Additionally, MercyCare Vernon Village now has power and intends to resume business at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Download a listing of locations that are open for residents who are in need of a place to go to charge medical equipment or need a day shelter. Medical supplies are not available at these locations. Residents are asked to visit their medical care supply provider for new oxygen tanks, diabetic supplies, etc.
